What is Traffic Type Classifier?
Classify analytics events based on text in the HTTP User Agent, IP Address, Hostname, URL or any Event Parameter. Use in triggers, or to populate the traffic_type event parameter used in GA4 filters.
Traffic Type Classifier variable is created by qbe-digital-analytics. Once you set up server side tagging with MetricsGate, you can use this variable with Google Tag Manager to enhance your data analytics.
This variable template is part of an open-source community, with its source code accessible on Github, and its documentation can also be found online.
